Passionate About
Jesus,
Discipleship, and Inspiring Others
Meghan is a passionate follower of Jesus, committed to the building of His kingdom.

With a firm belief that intentional discipleship is the key to building the kingdom, Meghan takes every possible opportunity to help others develop their relationship with Jesus.

Meghan believes in the power of the local church and can often be found spending time at her church The Well, (a multi-site church in Vaughan, King City, and Bolton) where she works as the Spiritual Formation and Family Ministry Intern.

A favourite opportunity to disciple youth and young adults intensively happens up at Camp Kwasind, on beautiful Skeleton Lake in the Muskokas. For up to 12 weeks in the summer, Meghan works daily with the staff at Camp to help them discover different ways to connect with God through Faith Practice.
Faith Practice is a devotional time that reminds everyone that faith requires work. In the same way that we go to hockey, dance or piano practice--we have to practice our faith if we want to get better at it. If we want our faith in Jesus to become second nature, we need to practice it until it becomes so.
As one camp staff member said "Faith practice was a great way to gain perspective and to understand where others were coming from. Faith practice wasn't a time for education but a time to grow and live."

Meghan is a part of the Uptick Network which comes alongside high-potential young leaders to help them develop solid experience that strengthens them for greater success.

Previously Meghan worked with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ) as part of one of the largest denomination-level Next Generation Ministry teams in Canada. As a part of this team, Meghan helped provide support to over 350 churches and worked with leading experts in Kids and Family, Youth, and Camp Ministries.

Currently, Meghan is working on her Masters of Divinity, at McMaster Divinity in Hamilton, where she focuses on Old Testament Biblical Studies. It is Meghan's hope that studying the word of God more deeply will help her to make the bible clearer to those she gets to teach.

On a personal note: Meghan is happily married to the coolest guy ever (he’s named Jon).
